Why Biogas

The fact that every form of organic waste such as food, farm and sewage wastes, energycrops, crops residues, grasses, seaweeds and algae can be converted into energy makesbiogas appealing to every common man. The advantages are numerous but I'll mention a few:

- Biogas is eco-friendly: biogas is a renewable, and also a clean source of energy. Theprocess of creating biogas is natural and as such does not need any form of energyfor the generation process.
- Biogas is a simple and low-cost technology: the technology used to produce biogas isquite cheap, it is easy to set up and needs little equipment when setting up on a small scale.
- Using stored biogas limits the amount of methane released into the atmosphere andreduces dependence on fossil fuels. Methane is 25 times stronger than carbondioxide as a greenhouse gas.
- It is sustainable: one of the advantages of biogas over all other renewable energies isthat its raw materials are readily available for as long as man exists. Plants andanimals waste will always be available to be converted into biogas.

Our Biogas systems vary in sizes and as such prices are determined by the volume of theBiogas system and also the production materials; the higher the volume of the system, the higher the price of the biogas system.
A biogas system size can go from a volume of 500 litres to +1 million litres. This volumedetermines the amount of wastes that the Biogas System
